Maybe you're wondering why we need to divide the Windows 7 partition? Yes you may want to install another operating system to dual boot, or want to add a new drive path for important files if it has more drive space. Or when you have the capacity of the drive space that more want to combine it with another drive, you can also do that.
This time I will teach you how to divide the partitions in Windows 7 and how to combine partitions in Windows 7 by using Windows Disk Management without any additional software.
okay immediately without having to throw a lot of time,we started to the tutorials please follow the steps below:
#1.First of all click start menu in desktop and typing Windows disk management, Press enter.
#2. After that windows will appear disk management to set the disk partition and display disk partition you created
#3.Then right click on the partition would you like to share and select the shrink volume .... (here I chose C.: /)
#4. Fill in the number of partition would you like to share in column that have been provided and click shrink.
#5. Last you will see the free space or unallocated partition generated by the shrink earlier. to be able to use the free space or unallocated partition earlier, you have to do format or making it a partition.
